We're a small, independent editorial team that fell in love with How to Fish — the chaotic physics-based fishing simulator by Dazed Games (Steam App #4001890) — and started writing down everything we learned so other players wouldn't have to relearn it the hard way.
This site, How to Fish Guides, is your unofficial wiki and complete guide to the game. We play it, we test each strategy on real saves, and we document what actually works — boss mechanics, bait chains, money routes, and the weird interactions that the tutorial never explains. It is a fan-made wiki, not affiliated with Dazed Games.
🎯 How we work
Every guide here is built from firsthand play, not from paraphrasing other sites. When a patch changes a boss or a bait recipe, we go back in, re-test, and update the page. If something in a guide is wrong or outdated, that's on us — and we fix it.
We cover the full loop: beginner survival, island walkthroughs, boss strategies, bait mechanics, the profit calculator, achievements, and four-player co-op. New guides and corrections land whenever the game gives us something worth writing down.
