Once you steer your boat across the ocean boundary to Island 2, several key gameplay dynamics shift dramatically:

• Aggressive Aquatic Predators: Fish are no longer passive catches. Schools of Piranhas will actively attack your character and your boat's hull.
• Airborne Flying Fish: Creatures launch themselves out of the water. While dangerous, hitting them mid-air awards huge Trick Shot score multipliers.
• The Leech Economy: Standard bait cannot summon progression bosses. You must transition entirely to specialized quest baits.

2. Finding Leech Bait: The Island 2 Resource Race

Your number one priority upon setting foot on Island 2 is foraging Leech Bait. Unlike basic starter bait, Leech Bait cannot be bought from vending machines or supply crates. It spawns naturally on the ground.

3. Combat Strategy: Leaping Piranhas & Flying Fish

The standard starter pistol deals pitiful single-target damage and has a slow fire rate. On Island 2, when 3 to 5 piranhas jump simultaneously, a pistol will quickly result in a player knockdown. Here is how to handle combat:

• Keep Moving: Piranhas trajectory is linear once they launch from the water. Strafing sideways will cause them to land harmlessly on the boat deck where you can dispatch them easily.
• Exploit Trick Shots: When Flying Fish glide overhead, jump and hip-fire for a 360 no-scope. Nailing airborne targets grants a 5x kill-score multiplier, funding your gear upgrades rapidly.
• Cook Defeated Attackers: Don't let dead piranhas go to waste! Throw them onto the grill to replenish your squad's hunger bar.

4. Weapon & Engine Upgrade Priority

Before attempting the Island 2 boss summon, allocate your team's cash according to this battle-tested priority list:

1. Submachine Gun (SMG): The high cyclic rate makes it the ultimate anti-piranha weapon.
2. Boat Engine Tier 2: Increases speed and turning radius, allowing you to kite ocean bosses and avoid rogue seagulls.
3. Assault Rifle (AR): Provides precision long-range firepower for the Island 2 boss fight and prepares you for Island 3.

5. Summoning the Boss & Unlocking Island 3

1. Equip the Leech Bait from your inventory onto your fishing rod.
2. Position your boat in the deep drop-off zone just off the southern coast of Island 2.
3. Cast your line and wait for the heavy bite indicator.
4. Reel in to trigger the boss spawn. Focus fire on its weak points while maintaining boat distance.
5. Defeat the boss, secure the dropped quest token, and deliver it to the island beacon to reveal the navigation route to Island 3!
